New York: 92nd Street YM-YWHA, 1998. 9.25" x 10" pp. [98], includes multiple black and white photographs throughout. Spiral-bound black wrappers have very light bends and scuffing at corners though present well. Text is bright and crisp. Very good.
Tipped in is an invitation to the show and Gala, addressed to a Mrs. Dorothy Marks. A handwritten note and signature from the sender, then executive director of the 92nd Street Y, Sol Adler. Mr. Adler was a prominent New York businessman involved in the arts who later became known for the scandal which ended his career, resulting in an interesting piece of New York City and Broadway history.
A souvenir booklet from the May 18, 1998 musical tribute to Maurice Levine, the founder of the 92nd Street Y's long-running Lyrics & Lyricists series exploring the careers of various different artists from the world of theater.
