Russian language translated to, "Athletes from fraternal countries increasingly began to take steps on the podium." Various flags are represented in design, including: Yugoslavia, Poland, Hungary, Vietnam, Czechoslovakia, Cuba, Romania, East Germany, USSR, Bulgaria, and Mongolia. Of interest to vexillologists.
