Includes the Treatise of Muscular Dissection by Bernard Connor (pp. i-x), Mathematical Disquisitions concerning Muscular Motions (pp. 171-76), and An Appendix of the Heart and its Use (pp. 177-83). This is the revised edition of Browne's 1681 Compleat Treatise of the Muscles, which contained plagiarized text of William Molins' 1648 Muskotomia and borrowed illustrations from Giulio Casserio's 1632 Tabulae anatomicae. Here rebranded as "Myographia Nova," the plagiarized edition is complete with slight changes to the original plates. Though essentially appropriated from earlier sources, this edition became a popular and impressive anatomy textbook in its own right.
