A collection of 65 color costume plates and illustrations from around the world, the majority of which originated from a variety of 19th century publications. The smallest size is 4" x 3.5" and the largest being 9.5" x 7" though majority are mid-size to large within this rage. Plates feature costumes/fashion for men, women, and children, including: travelers, aristocrats, friars and nuns, priests, milk maids, tattooed travelers, reindeer, and more. Many are hand colored. Slight foxing on some; pencil marks on a dozen or so. Overall, very good. Item #2724
