Kyoto: Unsodo, 1939-41. 8.5 " x 12" (each) 5 volume set; volume 1: pp. [26] (Aug 1939), volume 2: pp. [26] (Apr 1940), volume 3: pp. [26] (Sep 1940), volume 4: pp. [26] (Sep 1941), volume 5: pp. [26] (Dec 1941). Bound concertina style with colorful paper-covered boards. Very Good example; covers exhibit minor wear with the occasional loss of wrapper design (smudged off, esp. prevalent on volume 2), tape marks on cover of volume 1, all which do not affect internal designs; very light foxing. Some loss on the lower-left corner of volume 3 (not affecting designs). This set features numerous Japanese patterns and designs, woodblock-printed in a lively array of colors by Kawarazaki Kodo.
