Illustrated cream cloth boards have a few light smudges and scuffs with an area of light mildew staining on cover of volume 2; binding cracked but secure at the front and rear gutters of volume 1. Plate between pages 374-375 of volume 1 is detached from binding but present. Volume 2 title and contents page are detached from binding but present. Text is lightly toned but sound. Good.
