Large photography collection depicting the Mexico City entertainment industry with a special focus on XEW/XEQ radio with behind-the-scenes, candid, and staged photographs all gathered in 5 portfolio folders. Collection includes a total of 233 photographs (78: 8" x 10," 111: 5" x 7," 15: 5" x 8," and 29 are between the sizes of 3" x 4" and 4" x 6"). Within the collection, 18 are signed or otherwise inscribed to "Hector Cervera" who was a prominent entertainment producer in Mexico City. Majority of the photos are black and white; 6 are in color. Conditions vary; several photos have light smudges or markings, some folds or an occasional chip. Over half of the photos include identifiers on the verso; many state the performer's name(s) in addition to other markings, stamps, and numbers. This collection consists of roughly a third candid shots of singers at the microphone or backstage, a third studio headshots or otherwise staged sittings, and a third of studio, television, or stage performances with a cluster of photographs for a particular event or aired production.
