An autobiographical travel story about the author's pilgrimage to Tibet as a Buddhist scholar. Having taken place only a few years prior to the Chinese Invasion of Tibet in 1950, this account offers a glimpse into pre-invasion Tibetan life and culture, some of which ceased to exist in the following years (Miami University).
