"Roberto Soto Martínez, know as El Panzón Soto, was a comic actor belonging to the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema. Born at a time when Mexican cinema was practically non-existent, that is to say before the 1930s, "El Panzón Soto" enjoyed great fame and popularity throughout the country, thanks to its acute sense of political humor, in fact he is considered one of the fathers of Mexican political satire. He acted in some films, including "El gato montés", "La banda del automóvil" and "México Ra-ta-plan". His sons Roberto Soto Jr. and Fernando Soto "Mantequilla" also became actors."
