Mexico: [unknown], 1940. First edition. Hardcover bound with black boards; title pasted on the spine and front cover, red page ribbon.

11" x 14" pp. [approx. 158, with additional tip-ins] bound compilation of Rita Hayworth (née Margarita Carmen Cansino) clippings, articles, photographs, and advertisements from the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Brooklyn-born Hayworth’s parents were both Spanish; she became “Americanized” in her rise to Hollywood fame which resulted in a lightening of her hair color and changing of her name. Hardcover bound with black boards; title pasted on the spine and front cover, red page ribbon. Majority of articles and ads are in Spanish. Other featured celebrities include Cary Grant, Orson Welles, Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, Glenn Ford, and more.
