This is a bound set of clippings and articles from 1950s fashions in Cuba; most of the articles are from the popular "Vanidades" fashion magazine. Contents include dress patterns, model photography, fashion, and a plethora of color Cuban advertisements from the 1950s. Spanish language. Overall condition is good, some magazine pages are slightly yellowed; some chipping along the right-hand edges of the first handful of pages. Binding is good. Item #224

"Vanidades is one of the most popular Spanish language women's magazines. Published by Editorial Televisa across the United States and Hispanic America, it was launched in Cuba in February 1937 by Editorial Carteles S.A. When Fidel Castro rose to power, Vanidades' headquarters moved from Havana to New York."
