A collection of 21 essays on "womankind and famous women" selected and gathered by hand (curator unknown) in brown covers, bound with 2 hole punches and a gathered string tied in the back. One essay was bound incorrectly and is loose; others are tidy and bound well. Title is written by hand on the cover; multiple notes and annotations throughout. Essays are from the late 19th century, 1887-1899. A keen collection of early feminist baddies. Item #219
